This easy-to-install kit eliminates the need for a wood post. Fiberon post mounts provide consistent strength and quality. Wood posts may deteriorate over time and can shrink inside of a post sleeve, causing screws and brackets to break. Plus, wood posts tend to absorb water, causing them to warp and making it difficult to slide a PVC sleeve over the post.
- For 36 and 42 in. rail heights and 4 x 4 or 5 x 5 in. Fiberon post sleeves.
- Kit includes hardware and instructions for both wood and concrete installations.
- For wood installations, various methods of preparing the deck structure are appropriate. A minimum of 4 in. of blocking is required under the deck boards.
- For concrete installations, a minimum of 4 in. of concrete is required.
- Post mount allows for easy installation of Fiberon lighting.
- Post mount kit gives you the ability to level the post.
